Spain 2019 Getting There


The nearest airport is Gibraltar (45 mins drive away) you can fly there from Heathrow with BA,or from Gatwick with Easy Jet, BA, Monarch or, Norwegian Airlines. Ryanair also fly to Gatwick from Bournemouth. If several people are arriving to Gibraltar we can help to arrange a group transfer (at a small additional cost).

Alternatively you can fly to Malaga (1hr,45m transfer time) with BA from Heathrow or with Easyjet from Gatwick or Monarch from Luton, Manchester and Birmingham.

You can also fly to or Seville (1hr,45m) with Easyjet or Ryanair from Gatwick or Stansted.

Getting around:

Our location means that having your own transport is not at all essential during your stay. The beautiful sandy beach is a 10 minutes walk away (800m) with beach cafe, and windsurf school. Tarifa Town with its shops, bars and beaches is a 10 minute drive away- we may be able to drop you into town otherwise there is a taxi service available from the Villa.  Within walking distance are also places to do Kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, SUP,  rent mountain bikes or even horse riding. 

There’s a whole host of other things to do in Tarifa including, Rock Climbing, Kayaking and Canyoning and more gentle hiking along rugged sandy beaches, gentle mountains or beach side promenades.

Day trips to Tangiers, Morrocco - Baelo Claudia Roman ruins and museum, Bolonia - Tuna Canning Museum, Tarifa - Whale Watching, and Flamenco - for an interesting variety of independent shops are easily accessible and we are happy to organise these for you at your request.

There are several great beachside cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and numerous eateries and bars in Tarifa town.


Arrival at the Villa is from 5pm on Saturday 20th October. We will have a  short class to unwind from the days travel before dinner. Departure is from 10am on Saturday 27th October, we can assist you with transfers and baggage storage at your request.
