Join me for a wonderful winter Yoga Retreat from home this February. The weekend includes, a Virtual Ayurvedic Spa Treatment, Nourishing Yoga Classes and Deep Relaxation sessions.
The Retreat will run from Friday evening ( 5th February 2021) to Sunday Afternoon ( 7th February 2021) .
As well as the live sessions you will also receive Recipe suggestions from meals we often serve at our in-person retreats and the option to make your own Peppermint Foot Scrub and Neem Facial Cleanser.
The Yoga classes will be open to all levels and include lots of options so that everyone can go at their own pace. Beginners are also welcome.
Friday 5th February
6pm-7pm GMT: Gentle Yoga to Re-balance & Realign
This class will help us set the intention for the weekend ahead to nourish ourselves deeply. We will do a sequence of postures, gentle stretches and self massage/ applying pressure to certain places in the body which will release tension and stress, re-balance the meridians. The sequence will end with a deep relaxation to leave us feeling more at ease, centred and peaceful as we begin the retreat weekend.
Saturday 6th February
11:30am-1pm GMT Yoga for Radiance
This class will help you uncover your inner radiant self. A series of uplifting poses, energising breath work and meditation will leave you feeling rejuvenated and elevated.
2pm Optional Workshop: Make your own Peppermint Foot Scrub & Neem Facial Cleanser
Virtual Ayurvedic Spa Treatment
This is adapted from a treatment I offer combining and Ayurvedic Facial with Foot Soak & Reflexology. We will be doing a foot soak, foot scrub & foot massage as well as facial steam, cleanse and massage followed by a deep guided relaxation done lying down where I will lead you through virtual reflexology and marma point visualisation for the soles of the feet and the face.
Sunday 7th February
Yoga to activate the Vagus Nerve
This class incorporates classic Yoga postures with self myofascial release/ trigger points with Yin Yoga postures, held for several minutes to allow a deep release of the connective tissue and stored tension.
Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
We finish the retreat with an indulgent hour of restorative Yoga where we sink into props like cushions, blankets and bolsters fully supported so that we can rest deeply, followed by a 30 minute guided Yogic Sleep relaxation. My hope is that you will leave the retreat feeling deeply rejuvenated, stress-free and nourished on all levels of your being.
