This is a wonderful opportunity to study Yoga and Ayurveda in an exclusive small group (numbers limited to just 6 people). We have a beautiful light airy yoga studio with views across the rolling hills, and accommodation is in luxury 4* log cabins just down the road, and of course delicious, home-cooked food straight from the Beechen kitchen. In addition massage and ayurvedic treatments are available as well as one to one Yoga classes with Elise.

In this retreat we’ll be finding out how the Ayurvedic approach to bringing your body and mind back into balance through Lifestyle habits, Daily routine, Diet and Yoga and Meditation. We'll start by learning about our own individual constitution which encompasses body type, skin type, personality, emotional tendancies and the ways we tend to go out of balance. Then we will help you discover the best Ayurvedic Self Care Practises, Yoga Postures, Meditations and food combinations to help support your individual constitution and achieve an optimum state of health and balance. Highlights of the weekend will include Ayurvedic cooking workshops as well as developing an your own unique at home Yoga practise to take away with you. Bespoke Ayurvedic Treatments, corresponding to your constitution will also be available to book with Elise.
Because of the small numbers on this retreat you are guaranteed your own room (you can choose single bed shared bathroom or double bed en-suite bathroom). If you would like to share a room you can, however we regret that we are unable to offer any price discount for this.
Tiverton in mid Devon is the nearest town to our venues. The location benefits from being situated between Dartmoor and Exmoor and both the north and south Devon coasts, making it the perfect base for exploring the delightful Devon countryside.
We'll be using 2 locations for this retreat our family home for all Yoga activities and meals and luxury log cabins for overnight accommodation which are less than a mile up the road. They are based on a local farm, caravan and campsite. We are spoilt with beautiful views over Exmoor both at the house and the farm.
Accommodation is in luxury 4* log cabins just up the road from the house. The cabins benefit from log burners, central heating, shared lounge areas, and bedrooms with ensuite or shared bathrooms. Each cabin offers beautiful panoramic views over Exmoor.
All towels and bedding as well as tea and coffee making facilities are available at the cabins.
The house and log cabins are situated just outside of Tiverton, in Mid Devon.
Nearest airports are Exeter (45 minutes) and Bristol (approx 1 hour).
The nearest train station is Tiverton Parkway, which is about a 30 minute drive. If you are travelling by train please get in touch to arrange getting to the house from the station. The train is as quick as 2 1/2 hours from London Paddington and Birmingham, and an hour from Bristol.
Coaches also travel directly to Tiverton Bus Station from London Victoria.
By road, Tiverton is easily accessed from Junction 27 of the M5. . It's around a 3 1/2 hour journey from London. There is plenty of parking available. Further directions will be made available on booking.
